Meet the Team of Physical Therapists in Stowe, VT.
Michele Mannino PT, DPT
Owner, Physical Therapist
-
Michele has known she wanted to be a physical therapist since she was 14 years old. After spending several months (ahem, years) in PT from various sports injuries, her interest was piqued. In 2008 she became a Certified Personal Trainer but quickly knew she wanted to learn more. She went back to school for Physical Therapy and received her doctorate degree from the University of Vermont in 2014. She has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics ever since. She loves working with active, motivated individuals who are eager to learn more about their bodies and how to heal them.
When not treating patients, you can find her mountain biking, running, snowboarding or spending time with her partner, Rob, and their dog, Walter.
Mila Modlish PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
-
Mila is a doctor of physical therapy and strength and conditioning specialist who is passionate about getting you back to doing what you love confidently and without pain! Mila has extensive training in a variety of orthopedic injuries as well as pelvic floor rehabilitation and concussion management.
Mila has spent the last 3 years living in the Tetons treating outdoor athletes of all ages and abilities and she is thrilled to bring her knowledge to the motivated people of Vermont!
In her time away from Summit PT, Mila is always in motion, whether snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, wheel throwing average pottery or finding a new recipe to chef up that her partner John (usually) enjoys! Mila can’t wait to make Vermont her new home and meet all of you.
Brian Montgomery PT, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapist
-
Brian is a doctor of physical therapy with a love and passion for helping people feel and move better. He graduated from the DPT program at Springfield College in 2012 and is an APTA board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Brian has worked with people of all ages and skill levels including youth athletes, busy parents, weekend warriors, and elite olympic athletes.
His areas of expertise include foot and ankle injuries, custom orthotic fabrication, running technique training, weight lifting mechanics, and enhancement of whole-body awareness and control to improve overall athleticism and movement performance.
Brian grew up near the Poconos in north-western New Jersey. Between high school sports and college football, Brian is no stranger to training, performing, becoming injured, rehabilitating, and ‘getting back on the horse’ to do it again for the love of sport. Brian, his wife and three children enjoy spending time outdoors with their pups doing the same things you love to do; playing on the mountains, paddling in lakes and swimming holes, and enjoying local VT food and drink.
Kyla Meszkat
Clinic Coordinator
-
Originally from Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Kyla built much of her career in the ski industry, working across both retail and wholesale environments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lyndon State College and later transitioned into the corporate world, where she developed extensive experience as an Executive Administrator and Office Manager. Known for her strong organizational skills, reliability, and ability to support high-performing teams, she excels at keeping fast-paced operations running smoothly.
Kyla first came to Summit Physical Therapy and Performance for pre- and post-ACL surgery recovery and ongoing strength training. Through consistent training, weight lifting, and a commitment to movement, her determination and positive mindset quickly made her a favorite among the Summit team.
Outside of work, Kyla enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing, gravel biking, hiking, and camping, with a goal of returning to mountain biking this spring. During the summer months, she can often be found sailing Lake Champlain on a Pearson 30 with her family. She loves spending her time outdoors adventuring with her husband, two children, and their two Labrador retrievers.
Halle Phillips PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
-
Originally from the Finger Lakes region of New York, Halle earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University at Buffalo. Her career began with travel physical therapy, which brought her to Vermont, where she quickly fell in love with the state’s beauty and community.
For the past four years, Halle has worked at Copley Hospital, where she discovered her passion for outpatient orthopedics and pelvic floor physical therapy. She is especially drawn to pelvic floor rehab because it remains an underutilized resource with the power to make a profound difference in people’s lives.
Halle loves being a physical therapist because it allows her to connect with people, understand their goals, and help them return to the activities they enjoy most. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, gardening, golfing, hiking, and skiing. She is a huge Buffalo Bills fan and loves watching any and all sports.
Halle is excited to begin this new chapter with Summit and looks forward to continuing to support patients on their rehab and fitness journeys.
